In Collaboration with CourseAvenue
Course Development for ICASS
In collaboration with CourseAvenue, I'm contributing to the creation of a series of engaging online training courses for the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) program of the U.S. Department of State. ICASS Service Center (ISC), an interagency-funded office within the State Department, operates these services abroad, providing policy guidance, consultations, training materials, and technical advice. We're developing these courses using Vyond to create animated videos, enhancing the user experience and engagement for State Department personnel.
The project remains in progress, but the courses developed to date have been well received. They effectively enhance the learning experience for Department of State personnel, promoting a deeper understanding of ICASS programs and services.
The Challenges
- Distilling intricate ICASS information into engaging and accessible content for diverse learners.
- Balancing expectations and requirements from multiple stakeholders within the State Department and CourseAvenue.
- Leveraging Vyond to generate compelling animations that keep learners actively involved throughout the course.
- Continuously developing and adapting course materials in response to feedback and changing department needs.
